The narrative promises conflict arising from palace politics, cultural differences, and a budding romance with a royal reporter.

Despite his new ventures, Scobie confirms he has not completely severed ties with royal reporting, maintaining contact with numerous sources within the royal sphere. However, he has taken a notable step to mark this new phase in his career by leaving the Royal Press WhatsApp group.
