In a magical unveiling earlier this month, Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons launched its enchanting 2026 dress collection, inspired by the beloved Disney princesses. This new line, which pays homage to the fairytale legacies of iconic characters such as Aurora, Cinderella, and Jasmine, is part of the ongoing 35th anniversary celebrations of the brand.

The highlight of the unveiling was a surprise fashion show that took place at Walt Disney World Resort’s Magic Kingdom in Florida. The event, held on 19 February, transformed the park into a fairytale runway, featuring selected gowns from the collection displayed on a blue carpeted Main Street U.S.A. Attendees were treated to an exquisite experience against the backdrop of sparkling buildings and the iconic Cinderella Castle illuminated in soft hues.

Inspired by the vibrancy of characters like Ariel, Pocahontas, and Tiana, this year’s gown collection features a wealth of creativity. Among the most notable pieces showcased were a dazzling ruffled gown adorned with over 500 lights, which can change colours and patterns while synchronising to music, and a stunning gold metallic ball gown inspired by Belle from “Beauty and the Beast.”

Each dress captures the essence of the character it represents. For instance, the Jasmine A-line gown radiates confidence with its boat neckline and delicate beaded lace appliqués, embodying the princess’s fearless spirit. Meanwhile, Rapunzel’s gown features oversized floral appliqués in beautiful pastel shades, reminiscent of the lanterns that play a significant role in her story.
Aurora’s ball gown, designed in romantic floral sparkle tulle, and Tiana’s elegant sheath gown embellished with sequins and cascading pearl buttons further exemplify the meticulous craftsmanship involved in the collection. Tiana’s design includes an exquisite tulle cape, adding to its allure.
The fashion show was accentuated by a live performance of the Disney classic “Happily Ever After” by vocalists Jordan Fisher and Angie Keilhauer, making the event an unforgettable evening. One guest, actress Shelby Young, took to Instagram to express her excitement, describing the event as “an absolute dream” and celebrating the grandeur of the fashion show, which took place in the serene ambience of a nearly empty Magic Kingdom park.
Sizes for the new dress collection range from 0 to 30, ensuring that every bride can find her perfect gown. Those interested can view the entire collection on the official Disney Weddings website.
This launch is part of a month-long celebration for Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings, which has been granting couples their dream wedding experiences for nearly four decades. Throughout February, the brand continues to unveil thrilling announcements, including new wedding venue options and collaborations, such as the Haunted Mansion wedding venue at Disneyland and a custom Spotify playlist for Disney Weddings.
Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons continues to enchant couples around the globe, transforming dream weddings into a reality through their innovative designs and magical experiences. As the anniversary celebrations unfold, many eagerly anticipate what other surprises Disney has in store.
