The 31-year-old football star’s recovery process began with the successful surgical procedure to stabilise and repair the lung issue. In a post on X, JJ Watt, aged 36, informed their supporters, “Recovery timeline is still TBD, but all went well, and he is being released from the hospital today. He and his family are very appreciative of everyone’s kind words and well wishes.”
Dani Watt, TJ’s wife, also provided an update on his health via her Instagram Stories, stating, “It has been a very long hard couple of days but he will be home soon to recover.” She expressed gratitude towards well-wishers for their support and credited the medical teams involved in his care.
