Kandi Burruss Awarded Prestigious Wifetime Achievement Accolade at BravoCon 2025

Renowned musician and reality star, Kandi Burruss, was honoured with the coveted Wifetime Achievement Award at The Bravos ceremony held during BravoCon 2025. The esteemed accolade recognised Burruss’ exceptional 14-season tenure on the popular reality TV series, ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’.
Burruss, 49, graciously accepted the award at The Bravos event on Friday, November 14, during BravoCon 2025 in Las Vegas. Apart from her significant contribution to ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’, Burruss was also acknowledged for her other successful shows on the network, including ‘Kandi & the Gang’, ‘Xscape: Still Kickin’ It’, ‘Kandi Koated Nights’, and ‘The Kandi Factory’. Additionally, she is a two-time Broadway producer, actress, Grammy-winning songwriter, and the host of The Burruss Banter podcast.

In an interview with Bravo after receiving the award, Burruss expressed her excitement, stating, “It was a wonderful feeling to accept the award with my daughter standing right next to me. And all the fans were showing so much love. And even the — all of our Bravo family, everybody was showing love, and I really appreciate it. It made me feel good. I’m so thankful to be the Wifetime Achievement Award recipient.”

The announcement of Burruss’ prestigious award was made by Real Housewives executive producer Andy Cohen in the company of Burruss and her daughter, Riley Burruss. A visibly surprised Burruss reacted to the news by expressing her gratitude and acknowledging the years of hard work she had dedicated to her career.
Having joined ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ during its second season back in 2009, Burruss remained a pivotal cast member for an impressive 14 consecutive seasons, eventually bidding farewell to the show in 2023. Her extensive tenure on the series solidified her status as the longest-serving housewife in the franchise’s history.
Despite stepping away from the reality TV realm, Burruss is set to make a triumphant return to Broadway. She is scheduled to join the cast of the hit musical ‘& Juliet’ in December, taking on the role of Angélique, Juliet’s nurse. The limited run will take place at New York City’s Stephen Sondheim Theatre from December 11 to March 8, 2026.
