Bailey, at 25, expressed her immediate attraction to the script written by Ryan and Kristin Engle. She plays Anna, a character whose impulsive decision to squat in a Tuscan villa sets the stage for a whirlwind of romantic escapades. Young singing sensation Bailey remarked, “I was very intrigued by Anna’s storyline, character, vision, and passion. It’s a really feel-good movie.” On the other hand, Page, 37, was quick to jump on board after a brief conversation with producer Will Packer, who tantalisingly hinted at Tuscany in the summer.
The actors shared a delightful anecdote about their first meeting at The Met Gala, a star-studded event where their friendship blossomed amidst the glamour. Page fondly recalls the encounter, “We just kind of hung out because those rooms can be pretty intimidating. It’s a room full of every luminary in the world.” The pair bonded effortlessly, setting the stage for their on-screen romance to flourish.

Page and Bailey’s on-screen chemistry was palpable from the start. Page remarked, “The chemistry starts straight away. You start feeling out how the other person is, and it’s just knowing that you can feel safe in someone else’s company.” Their initial scenes together, set in the kitchen, provided an excellent litmus test for their on-screen dynamic. Bailey, a fan of Page’s work on ‘Bridgerton,’ found him to be as cool in person as he appeared on screen, much to her delight.
Filming ‘You, Me & Tuscany’ on location in beautiful Tuscany added an extra layer of authenticity to their performances. Bailey described the breathtaking scenery as resembling a screensaver, creating an immersive backdrop for their love story. Page reflected on the escape offered by the picturesque setting, highlighting the joy of delving into the world of the movie amidst the rolling hills of Tuscany.

For Bailey, the filming experience was made even more special by the presence of her 23-month-old son, Halo, on set. She cherished the opportunity to share such a unique experience with her young son, capturing memories that they can look back on together. Page jokingly recounted a scene where he had to chase Bailey, praising her athletic abilities and teasing her with a rematch. The playful banter between the co-stars mirrored their on-screen dynamic.
‘You, Me & Tuscany’ promises to be a heartwarming romantic comedy that will transport audiences to the enchanting landscapes of Tuscany. Scheduled for release on April 10, 2026, the film is set to capture hearts with its blend of humour, romance, and picturesque views. Fans eagerly anticipate the on-screen chemistry between Bailey and Page, as they bring to life a tale of love, adventure, and self-discovery in the idyllic setting of Tuscany.
