Identified as Francisco Otilio Gaytan, 27, Benny LiconGomez, 27, and Eduardo Lopez, 21, all residents of Northridge, the alleged perpetrators have been charged with murder in the tragic death of DELAROSA. The Los Angeles County District Attorney, Nathan Hochman, described the incident as a premeditated and targeted assault that claimed the life of a young artist and inflicted lifelong trauma on her family and surviving companions.
Following the attack, Gaytan was apprehended on the same day, while LiconGomez was taken into custody the next day. A warrant for the arrest of Lopez has been issued. The individuals have each been charged with one count of murder and two counts of attempted second-degree robbery. The motive behind the attack remains unclear. DELAROSA’s final Instagram post, shared on Oct. 30, showcased her excitement for new music, hinting at upcoming releases to her devoted followers before her tragic passing. Her last song, “No Me Llames,” was released in August.

Tributes flooded social media platforms as fans and fellow artists mourned the loss of DELAROSA. Colombian reggaeton artist Sharik expressed perpetual love, and Juan Moises, the lead singer of Los Gemelos de Sinaloa, paid homage with a symbolic gesture. As investigations continue, and loved ones grieve, the suspects are in custody awaiting legal proceedings. Gaytan is scheduled for arraignment on Jan. 7, 2026, with a set bail amount of $2,180,000.
LiconGomez’s arraignment was slated for Wednesday, Nov. 26, with a bail set at $2,280,000. On the other hand, Lopez’s arraignment will be scheduled once he is apprehended, with bail set at $2,205,000. If found guilty, the accused could face life imprisonment without the possibility of parole. The defendants’ legal representation status remains undisclosed. Individuals with relevant information pertaining to the incident are urged to contact the authorities to aid in the ongoing investigation. The community continues to remember and honour the life of DELAROSA as justice is sought for the tragic events that unfolded on that fateful day.
