A conservative group in California has recently announced their unsanctioned plans for a “MAGA Invasion” of Disneyland, set to take place on Saturday, February 28, 2026. The group, known as 805 Patriots, aims to bring together like-minded individuals for a day at the popular Anaheim park. Encouraging attendees to wear “patriots in the park” T-shirts and red MAGA hats, the group has outlined their event details on social media.

The 805 Patriots organization, named after California’s central coast region’s area code, has a significant online following with over 32,000 followers on Instagram and 11,000 followers on TikTok. Their Facebook post on November 19 invited supporters to participate in the event, with an emphasis on triggering as many liberals as possible on their “home turf” at Disneyland. While the group plans to share a more detailed agenda closer to the event date, they have already started selling merchandise for the gathering.
Attendees of the “MAGA Invasion” are instructed not to bring any MAGA flags to the park as they are officially prohibited. Instead, the group is selling navy blue T-shirts, hoodies, kids shirts, and baby onesies featuring their “Make Disney Great Again” design on their website. With a bold silhouette of a Revolutionary War patriot waving the Betsy Ross flag in front of a reimagined Disney castle, the merchandise aims to promote their message.
Although Disneyland hosts various events throughout the year, this gathering is neither organized nor endorsed by the park. Unofficial fan-led events like Dapper Days and Villains Days are common at theme parks, with attendees often dressing up according to specific themes. However, Disneyland reserves the right to refuse entry to guests who violate their dress code or any other park rules, irrespective of the nature of the event.
Aside from the “MAGA Invasion,” another group-led event, Gay Days Anaheim, is also planning a meetup at Disneyland on the same day. With their “Mini Gay Days” set to host gatherings throughout the weekend, the park is likely to see a diverse range of visitors on February 28, 2026. While representatives for Disneyland and the 805 Patriots Facebook page have not responded to requests for comments, it remains to be seen how the park will manage the potential influx of visitors on that day.
