Scheduled from November 28 to December 14, the festivities will include a special world premiere of the documentary “Dick Van Dyke: A 100th Celebration” on Sunday, Dec. 7 at 2 p.m. The documentary will delve into Van Dyke’s journey, featuring his most iconic moments from film and television, along with interviews with the star himself and his friends and co-stars. Directed by Emmy-winning filmmaker Steve Boettcher, the film promises a unique perspective on the TV legend.

The film, which has been in the making for about 30 years, includes interviews with Hollywood icons such as Mary Tyler Moore, Carl Reiner, and Betty White. The focus was on those who worked directly with Van Dyke, providing insights into his career from those who experienced it firsthand. A Van Dyke-inspired costume contest, judged by Van Dyke’s wife Arlene, will kick off the premiere at Malibu City Hall, leading up to the nationwide screenings of the film on December 13-14.
