In a heartbreaking incident, a 10-year-old boy lost his life and his 9-year-old friend was injured after their e-scooter collided with a truck in Las Vegas. The incident took place at the intersection of East Butternut Lane and North Charnut Lane, as reported by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Traffic Bureau.
According to authorities, the two children were riding the e-scooter together when they “unlawfully” entered the intersection and crossed into the path of a Toyota Tundra truck. The truck collided with the e-scooter, causing both juveniles to be thrown to the ground.
