A wealthy woman from Texas has been accused of causing a fatal accident while driving her Porsche in an intoxicated state during a first date. The incident occurred on April 19, 2023, when Kristina Chambers, 34, was driving her blue Porsche 911 Carrera at a speed of over 70 mph. Prosecutors allege that she struck Joseph McMullin, 33, as he was leaving a Houston donut shop after their first date.

According to reports from the Houston Police Department, Chambers failed to maintain her lane, struck a curb, and then hit McMullin on the sidewalk before colliding with a pole. Tragically, McMullin was pronounced dead at the scene after being thrown 30 feet into the air by the impact. Chambers and two passengers in her Porsche sustained injuries and were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
During the trial that began on October 16, prosecutors revealed that Chambers was found with small bags of cocaine in her car and purse.
