Son of Georgia Woman Who Gave Birth While Brain Dead Is ‘Making Progress’ in the Hospital, Says Family

The son of a woman from Georgia who gave birth almost four months after being declared brain dead while pregnant continues to show signs of progress in the hospital, according to the family. Adriana Smith, a registered nurse from Atlanta, was pronounced brain dead in February after experiencing multiple blood clots in her brain.
