Calif. Teen Allegedly Messaged Friends About ‘Conquering’ Someone After Frat Party. Now He’s Facing Felony Rape Charges

A California teenager is facing serious felony charges after allegedly assaulting someone at a frat party earlier this year. Reef Mordente, 19, was arrested on August 9 on charges of raping an intoxicated victim, forced oral copulation, and digital penetration, as reported by the Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Office. Following his arrest, Mordente turned himself in to the Los Angeles Police Department and was subsequently released on a $100,000 bail, shedding light on the gravity of the situation.
