A Condor Airlines flight recently made headlines when it was forced to divert to Italy after one of its engines appeared to burst into flames shortly after takeoff. The crew onboard quickly responded to the emergency and decided to make an emergency landing at Brindisi Airport in southern Italy.

All 273 passengers and 8 crew members onboard the flight were unharmed when the plane touched down at Brindisi at 8:15 p.m. local time, according to various reports. Passengers recounted the harrowing experience, with one individual describing a sudden power outage and a moment of uncertainty during the flight. The situation left many passengers shaken, with some expressing the fear that they may not survive the ordeal.

Passengers were also informed that they could submit expenses for reimbursement if they opted for alternative accommodation arrangements.
