Influencer Nika Diwa and her husband, Emeka Ihedigbo, are thrilled to announce that they are expecting their third child. Already parents to daughters Zuri, aged 2, and Zion, aged 4, the couple shared their joy with PEOPLE in an exclusive interview. Diwa, aged 35, revealed that despite previously stating they were done having children, a small part of her had always wondered if they were truly finished expanding their family. The couple acknowledges that their friends were equally surprised by the news.

Diwa first suspected she was pregnant when she noticed her clothes feeling tighter and experiencing unusual fatigue during a workout. Reflecting on her second pregnancy, she recognised the signs and decided to take a test, which came back positive. The expectant mother admitted that this pregnancy has been particularly challenging, with symptoms like nausea, exhaustion, and prenatal depression. However, with the support of her doctor, she has established a safe treatment plan to help her through.

As the couple prepares to welcome their newest addition in February, they are eagerly anticipating finding out the baby’s gender and have already begun discussing potential names. Diwa shared that while she named their first two children, it is now her husband’s turn to choose a name, revealing that he has a boy’s name in mind but is still considering options for a girl. Despite the difficulties of this pregnancy, Diwa expressed a mix of nerves and hope for the future, believing that the new baby is a miracle that will bring even more joy to their family.
