A mother of two sons with autism, Arisbeth Muñoz, faced a life-altering ordeal as she battled a flesh-eating disease that led to the amputation of her limbs. The 39-year-old, residing in San Diego, found herself in a critical condition after being diagnosed with the flu and strep A in December. Despite starting her day normally, Muñoz’s health took a drastic turn, landing her in the emergency room where medical experts anticipated her passing on that very night.
