Zoë Kravitz in Talks to Direct ‘How to Save a Marriage’ Post ‘Blink Twice’
Zoë Kravitz is considering taking the director’s chair once again following her directorial debut with “Blink Twice” in 2024. This time, the 36-year-old star is in initial discussions to direct a new film titled “How to Save a Marriage” for Sony Pictures, as revealed by Deadline. Notably, Kravitz’s “The Batman” co-star, Robert Pattinson, is set to produce the upcoming project alongside Brighton McCloskey under their banner, Icki Eneo Arlo. Robert Pattinson, widely recognised from “The Batman,” will take on a producer role in this production. In her previous project, “Blink Twice,” Kravitz delved into a storyline that followed a group of individuals invited by a tech magnate to a secluded island, where peculiar events commence among the guests. Notably, her former fiancé, Channing Tatum, featured in the cast. The duo ended their three-year engagement last October, with a source informing PEOPLE that the separation was mutually agreeable, noting that they were in different life stages. The ensemble for “Blink Twice” included Naomi Ackie, Christian Slater, Simon Rex, Adria Arjona, Haley Joel Osment, Kyle MacLachlan, and Geena Davis.
Reflecting on her directorial initiation, Kravitz articulated grappling with self-doubt during the filming of her first feature. She shared with PEOPLE, “After the first day of filming, I was just like, ‘Oh, my God. I don’t know what I’ve gotten myself into.’” The post-production phase proved to be arduous, with the film enduring challenges for an extended period. Despite this, Kravitz expressed conviction in her vision, emphasizing in an interview with ScreenRant, “I saw the movie in my head and I just felt like, ‘I don’t know how I’m going to explain this to somebody.’ It would be really painful actually, if someone else took it and did something else with it. So I just thought, ‘If not now, when?'”
The potential collaboration between Kravitz and Pattinson in “How to Save a Marriage” stands as an exciting prospect in the entertainment industry. Both actors bring a wealth of experience and talent to the project, promising a compelling narrative under Kravitz’s direction. As fans eagerly anticipate further updates on this venture, the duo’s on-screen chemistry in “The Batman” hints at a dynamic synergy that could enhance their behind-the-scenes partnership.

By exploring diverse genres and narratives, she continues to push boundaries and challenge herself artistically. With “How to Save a Marriage” shaping up to be her next directorial endeavour, audiences can anticipate a thought-provoking and emotionally resonant cinematic experience under Kravitz’s directorial vision.
