During an exclusive interview with PEOPLE at the Billboard Women in Music Awards, the 31-year-old artist reflected on her battle with panic disorder and the importance of self-care and rewiring one’s brain through therapy.


Trainor, who received the hitmaker award at the event, had a powerful message for women, urging them to be kinder to themselves and emphasising the significance of taking a moment to breathe.
