Boy, 15, Ran Naked into a Store After Escaping ‘Deplorable’ Home with ‘Feces and Urine Throughout.’ Now, 3 People Have Been Arrested

Three people have been taken into custody on suspicion of child abuse and neglect following a disturbing incident involving a 15-year-old boy in California. According to the authorities, the teenager was found running naked into a grocery store while being “bound at the wrists.” The incident took place in the town of Ceres, where the local police department responded to reports of a nude male running near Hatch Road and Richland Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered the boy with visible injuries and signs of being restrained not only at the wrists but possibly at the ankles as well. Emergency medical assistance was then provided, and the boy was subsequently taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The unfolding events led to the arrest of three individuals, including the boy’s mother, identified as Leandra Renteria, his grandmother, and her husband.

Leandra Renteria, the mother of the autistic teenage boy, is now facing legal repercussions along with the teen’s grandmother, Lenore Wilson, and her husband, Gary Wilson. The 15-year-old, who is also autistic, was found in a distressed state inside the grocery store, prompting the police to investigate his living conditions back at home. Upon reaching the boy’s residence, law enforcement officers were met with appalling sights – feces and urine were reportedly found throughout the house, coupled with strong odors and hazardous materials that posed significant health risks.
