Despite his initial release, he struggled to hunt for food, resorting to scavenging for sustenance.

After being deemed non-releasable by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Lincoln found a permanent home at the American Eagle Foundation. His journey to becoming the Philadelphia Eagles’ beloved mascot included years of training at local high school football games and Neyland Stadium at the University of Tennessee before making his NFL debut.

Every game day featuring Lincoln’s awe-inspiring flight at Lincoln Financial Field begins with a road trip from Kodak to Philadelphia in a custom van. Ensuring Lincoln’s comfort and well-being during the 13-hour journey, his handlers incorporate regular breaks for him to stretch his wings.
