Recounting the chilling confrontation, Young shared with the Daily News that the assailant, who also had a dog with him, made a horrifying statement, ” ‘Yo, get your dog. I’m [going to] chop her head off.’” Young’s immediate reaction to protect Chanel led to the perpetrator inflicting severe injuries on him. The attacker swiftly aimed the blade at Young’s left hand, cutting off four of his fingers during the fateful encounter.
